A couple of weekends back Brad and I went to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple open house with Dan, Brad's brother, and some friends in the ward. We actually went on the Saturday evening when the Angel Moroni had been hit by lightning that morning. With all the thunderstorms we've been having I'm not suprised it got hit, it is a lighting rod as well, but it was a crazy thing to see. So his arm and trumpet are black (it's hard to see in the picture above - but its there). The temple was beautiful, I loved all the stone floors, the fabrics and colors and the amazing murals.

This one is kind of blurry but cute - it is Aspen sleeping and Brad had put her blanket on her and tucked her in so just her head was sticking out.
This is Aspen barking at the cat on the fence. She is a great protector of her yard and hates any birds or cats being in it.
